ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Munir Akram slammed India, the UNSC’s president for the month of August, for not inviting Islamabad to the Council’s assembly on Afghanistan.
He made these remarks whereas addressing a press convention on the UN Headquarters in New York, hours after the UN Security Council’s assembly.
Munir Akram stated that India had violated the UNSC guidelines by denying Pakistan the chance to deal with the 15-member physique as a neighbouring nation with a significant stake in peace in Afghanistan.
